At Trinity, leadership is more than governance—it is spiritual stewardship. Our Council members serve not simply as decision-makers, but as prayerful leaders who listen for where the Spirit is guiding our congregation next.
Each member brings unique gifts, experiences, and passions. Together, they share a deep love for Christ, a commitment to Trinity’s mission, and a hopeful vision for our future. They care about being Christ-centered, welcoming all, serving boldly, and stewarding our resources with generosity and integrity.

Michael Rogers
President
I’m Michael Rogers. My wife, Linden, and I have been attending Trinity for the past 14 years. I also attended as a youth and have been baptized and married in our church. You’ll usually find us at the early service on Sunday with our young children – Auden, Mina, and Kieran. What I love most about Trinity is our welcoming environment and grace-centered messaging. I’m thankful for all this church has provided my family, and I’m incredibly excited about our future of equipping children, men, and women to be disciples of Jesus Christ.
Carrie Schaller

I’m Carrie Schaller, and have been a member of Trinity since 1989. I enjoy Saturday evening services. My husband Mike and I have 3 adult children, Kate, Jack & Maggie, all of whom were baptized and confirmed at Trinity. I retired from Dow in 2022 after a 35 year career. I am enjoying serving on council at this exciting time for our church, as we refresh our strategy and make plans for our future. Our welcoming environment and sense of community are wonderful!

Trinity family, I have been a member here since birth. I was baptized, confirmed, and married at Trinity. My wife, Debbie, joined after we married. This is my 3rd year on council. Other teams I have been active with include Trinity camp, asset maintenance, investment, and the memorial garden. I now work part-time, and we are snowbirds. Being active is the key to being part of the "Trinity family." There's something for everyone. Reach out, join a group or committee. This Christ-filled community welcomes you.
Pam Fagan
To my Trinity Family, my name is Pam Fagan, and I've been a member of Trinity for 45 years now. I am currently active in the Chancel Choir, Church Council, the Benevolence Ministry, the Mobile Food Pantry, and Ignite Food Prep. I love to help with decorating and other projects within the congregation. I also assist in hosting the monthly Community Assistance meetings held here at Trinity. These meetings bring agencies and churches together each month to address the pressing needs of the Midland Community.
I'm very blessed to be a member of this thriving congregation and look forward to many more years of fun and service at Trinity!
Kathy Allen
Trinity Family, My name is Kathy Allen. My husband Sid and I have been members of Trinity for 16 years. We visited many churches before choosing Trinity. Our Church Community is truly a family. Sharing our faith and our lives has been a real gift. Becoming active in the many church activities including council for 6 years, Stephen Ministry leadership, benevolence committee, ushering, women’s small group, community service and various other volunteer opportunities has given me an opportunity to give back and become a part of the church mission. It is exciting to see our church grow in faith and love for each other
Jessica Miller
My name is Jessica Miller, and Trinity has been my church home for 15 years. My husband, Jeff, and our daughters, Ashley and Lauren, attend the 8:45 service, where I serve as an usher and Lay Reader. From the very first Sunday, I felt an immediate sense of belonging — drawn in by our shared beliefs, our commitment to community outreach, and the warmth of the congregation. Trinity has given me many opportunities to grow in faith and friendship. From teaching Sunday School to participating in the Women's Life Group and serving on the Women's Ministry Team, the relationships I've built here are ones I truly treasure. I am deeply honored to serve on the Church Council and to play a part in advancing God's work at Trinity.
Dawn Eby
Hello, I am Dawn Eby. I moved to Midland in 1998 and joined Trinity soon after. I have 2 grown sons who were baptized and confirmed at Trinity. You can often find me at the 8:45 service. I love the opportunities Trinity offers for fellowship, education, and service. This is my first year on council, and I look forward to the next 3 years!
Sandy Schlesinger

I’m Sandy Schlesinger, and I have been a member of Trinity since 1984. My husband, Curt Putzig, and I were married at Trinity in 1987. Our three children, Scot, Bret, and Katie, were baptized at Trinity and blessed to participate in the children’s Sunday School, musicals and Christmas programs, as well as in the youth programs, including Confirmation, mission trips, and ELCA Gatherings. As a parent, I got to know many of our Trinity youth as I taught 6th-grade Confirmation for 20 years and attended ~10 high school mission trips as an adult leader. I have served as a past president of Trinity’s Council, served a 6-year term on the ELCA Church Council, and am currently serving as Vice President of our N/W Lower MI Synod. I continue to stay active at Trinity as a member of the Chancel Choir, an Assistant Minister, by delivering home communion, and as a volunteer Parish Administrator in the church office. What I love most about Trinity is the sense of belonging and shared purpose - partnering with other individuals, couples and families of all ages to grow in and live out our faith as we use our time, talents and treasures to help others in our church, our community and beyond.
I serve Trinity with a deep love for Christ and a hopeful vision for the Church. I am passionate about preaching the gospel in ways that are honest, relevant, and life-giving—helping people move beyond simply knowing about God to experiencing a living relationship with Jesus.
I believe the Church is at its best when it is Christ-centered, welcoming, generous, and boldly engaged in the community. I care deeply about spiritual growth, strong relationships, thoughtful leadership, and shaping a future where Trinity thrives for generations to come.
I strive to lead with transparency, humility, and collaboration rather than control. I trust that God is always doing something new among us, and it is a joy to help Trinity listen, discern, and step forward in faith together.
